Pokemon CDs!
There are a number of Pokemon CD's, both in English and Japanese. Hopefully
this list will help you find specific songs! (I own several Pokemon CD's,
but not all of them. Additional information for this section would be
greatly appreciated!) Click the CD cover image for more pictures and goodies
from the CD.
NOTE: Only the official "Pikachu Records" versions of the Japanese CD's
come with the special enclosures. For this reason, I encourage you to
not buy the bootleg (Son May Records) versions of these CDs, particularly
of the CD Drama. Trust me, the extra money is worth it for the neat extras
you get! And besides, by supporting the real makers of Pokemon, you encourage
them to continue producing such neat stuff!
NOTE 2: The easiest-to-find import CD is probably Pokemon Best Collection
(1). Since this disc originally came with a bunch of rare promo cards,
many collectors bought the disc for the cards only. The CD without the
cards is significantly cheaper if you're just looking for the music.
For both legal and bandwidth reasons, I will not post the MP3 files
of these songs. If you are interested in purchasing these CDs, check out
Amazon.com and Ebay. Note that the Japanese import CDs are usually on
the expensive side. You may be in for a bit of a treasure hunt to find
some of the older CDs, but they do appear on Ebay from time to time.
