Team Rocket Mottos!

Few things are as predictable in life as the Team Rocket motto. Team Rocket will always appear at least once per episode and recite their infamous motto (usually before getting blasted away by Pikachu or another Pokemon). You know it's coming as soon as you hear that famous theme music signifying the "Prepare for trouble!" "And make it double!" (Although the original music has changed several times.)

Team Rocket loves to pose and recite their bit of nonsense whenever possible, especially at inopportune times (like when they're attempting to sneak into a building). Meowth is skeptical of the motto's impact, but Jessie and James insist that it's necessary ("We need the motto!" "Our fans have come to expect it!"). Ironically enough, the twerps will patiently sit through TR's lines most of the time. You would think that after seven years of hearing essentially the same motto every day, they'd interrupt more frequently. Also, guest characters will often exclaim "What was that all about?" as soon as the motto ends.

Not all Team Rocket mottos are the same. In many of the later episodes, Jessie and James begin their motto with something relevant to the situation. There are also some distinctly different variations on the familiar lines of the whole Team Rocket motto. A few of the more familiar are listed here.
