Further info available at http://tbp.berkeley.edu/~jdonald/pokemon/pokemonrbycodes.txt - lists just about everything you need to know about the hex values of all Pokemon R/B's programming.

Numbers above 190 (HEX BF) will revert to Rhydon immediately after being captured. Sometimes you can get these Pokemon if you catch them twice (so the Pokedex doesn't appear). Other times, catching these glitches will freeze the game.

Additional detailed information available at Bizarre Glitches and Glitch Experiments.
